Painting A Large Watercolor

Skill Level:  Intermediate to advanced

4 Week Course

 

  • Class participants will be using their own reference (any subject)
  • The class will be focused on using a systematic process to create a successful large full sheet painting (22″ x 30″)  You may also do a half sheet if you choose (15″ x 22″)
  • Week 1 will focus on creating the composition for your painting
  • In week 2 we’ll do a quarter sheet version of your composition
  • Week 3 and week 4 will be spent painting the large format painting

Painting Winter

Skill Level:  Beginner with some experience through advanced intermediate

4 Week Course

In this 4 week class I will be painting a different winter scene each week.  The class is being offered as independent study during the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The demonstrations will be recorded for viewing at your leisure.  Submit your homework weekly for critique.  The class critiques will also be recorded and posted for viewing at your leisure.
