Skill Level:  Beginner with some experience – advanced intermediate

6 Week Watercolor Class

Artists often describe watercolor as a delicate balance between control and surrender.  Unlike opaque mediums like acrylic or oil, watercolor is defined by its fluid, unpredictable, and transparent nature, which forces the artist to “work with” the medium rather than dominate it

I like to say “Be in control but don’t try to control”

In this class we’ll work to bring out the personality of watercolor as we explore a variety of subjects.

• Weekly demonstrations painting a variety of subjects
• Weekly homework ( You’re free to use the reference material provided or use your own)
• Weekly critique
